Should I get the time (i.e. Make the time)…

There are two subjects I would like to explore. One is a bought a boat. It is a 1991 Bayliner Capri 1800 open bow. I have not had a boat in the family in 30 years. I have a lot to learn. I called Bayliner and they still had the owners manual in PDF. They sent it to me but I have not read it yet. I will start to work on that first.

UPDATE: I had the boat for a few weeks and put it in the water a couple of times and then someone hit me while I was transporting it and totaled it out!!! I just replaced it with a 1988 Chaparral. It is a bigger and much heavier boat. Not as fast but seems to be built a lot better!

 

The other is to explore the current SHTF or EOTWAWKI planning and preparedness movements. I am always interested in and think it is smart to be ready for whatever. My limit becomes that I do not want sacrifice my life today for a life that might or might not happen in the future. I also do want to be plain stupid and unprepared for what might lie ahead.

I feel there is a reasonable level of preparedness without reaching that all consuming state.
